“It’s high…..it’s far …..it’s ……GONE !” You’ve heard John Sterling’s well-known call for the Yankees many times. Well, if you can’t (or don’t want to) get to the new Yankee Stadium, what’s the next best thing ? Well, of course, the Somerset Patriots at TD Park in Bridgewater!
The Fellowship Comm. is pleased to announce a new program through which our congregation (and friends) may purchase ticket vouchers to Somerset Patriots (2009 Atlantic League Champs) home games at a discount ($7/ vs. $9/ticket). And in so doing, you will help our Church raise funds. It truly is
a win-win-win situation.
This is good AA-AAA baseball. Many of you remember Sparky Lyle, a former great Yankee pitcher; he’s the Patriots’ Manager (and 2009 Manager of the Year). Remember Graig Nettles at third base for the Yankees ? His
nephew , Jeff, now plays third base for the Patriots.
It’s easy. When you’re interested, go to www.somersetpatriots.com, and check out the Patriots’ home schedule. Then, call the church office at 908-232-9490 or fill out the form below to reserve vouchers for the number in your party. The vouchers can be purchased in the church office. Take the vouchers to the ballpark and exchange them for tickets in the Upper Box sections (see blue section on site stadium diagram page).
If you’re planning an outing for a fairly large group, i.e. 20+, you’d be smart to get the vouchers and go over to the park ahead to get seats, as seats cannot be reserved through this voucher program. The vouchers are good for any regular season game, so if you get rained out or change your plans at the last minute, not a problem.
We ask that Church congregants purchase the vouchers for themselves and friends in their parties; clearly, the more, the merrier. There’s no limit to the number of vouchers that can be made available.
The Patriots crew conducts games for kids before games and during 7th-inning stretches. Parking’s cheap, their food/beverage service is great and is reasonably priced. So, treat yourself, family and friends to a guaranteed good time with the Patriots at TD Park.
Opening game is Friday, April 30th . Play ball!
